Times Tables Tug of War is a fun and engaging classroom game that helps learners build multiplication fluency through friendly competition. Teams race to answer times tables questions correctly, with each correct answer pulling the rope closer to their side. Perfect for mental maths practice, lesson starters, plenaries and interactive whiteboard activities.

How to Use

Divide the class into Team A and Team B.
Click Start Game to begin.
Each team receives a different multiplication question.
Teams work together to find the correct answer.
The first team to select the correct answer wins the round and pulls the rope.
Continue playing until one team pulls the flag all the way to their side and wins the game.

Suitable for practising times tables up to 12 × 12 and developing quick recall of multiplication facts.
